How to Compare Mounjaro Prices (Without Getting Caught Out)

The five-minute version: compare the total for your exact dose (not the headline “from” price), apply any live discount code, check delivery and consultation fees, and confirm the pharmacy is on the GPhC register. Do that and you’ll rarely overpay.

1. Ignore “from £XX” headlines

Pharmacy ads quote their single cheapest price — usually the 2.5mg starter dose for brand-new customers with a discount applied. If you’re on 10mg as a returning customer, that number is useless to you. Always price your exact dose and customer status. Here’s the live picture for the starter dose, straight from the index:

Lowest listed total price: £0.00 (Asda).

Retail range shown: £100.00 - £239.00.

Discounted total range shown: £0.00 - £219.00.

2. Compare totals, not pen prices

The figure that matters is what leaves your bank account:

  • Medication price for your dose
  • Delivery (some include it, some charge extra)
  • Consultation or prescribing fees (often bundled, occasionally separate)
  • Any first-order or returning-customer discount actually applied

  • Lowest retail price shown: £100.00
  • Lowest discounted total shown: -
  • Highest saving amount shown: £369.00
  • Average saving amount (where shown): £161.37

3. Use every discount you’re owed

Codes are the most-missed saving in this market. We keep every live code on one page — check it before every order, copy the code, and watch the discount land before you pay.

4. Check the pharmacy is real

Only buy from pharmacies on the General Pharmaceutical Council register. Every provider in our index is checked against it — see how verification works. If a site selling Mounjaro isn’t on the register, walk away — whatever the price.

5. Think beyond this month

Mounjaro is usually titrated — your dose (and the price) typically rises over the first few months, then settles at maintenance. A pharmacy that’s cheapest at 2.5mg isn’t always cheapest at your target dose. Check the price at every dose before committing, and remember switching pharmacy later is normal and straightforward.

6. Know what price can’t tell you

A listed price is a dated observation of what a pharmacy published. It says nothing about stock, delivery speed, support quality, or whether you’ll be approved for treatment — every legitimate provider assesses you clinically first. Use price to shortlist; use the pharmacy’s service to decide.
