Compare first-order and repeat treatment costs
Use Mango Market dose tables and pharmacy pages to check pack costs, first-order offers and the questions to ask about repeat orders.
By Mango Market. A guide to comparing services; a prescriber decides what treatment is suitable.
Start with the dose you have been prescribed
The headline price is usually for a starting dose. If you are already having treatment, open the medicine page and select your prescribed dose before comparing pharmacies. The dose page shows the lowest price, the average and the full ranking for that strength.
Use the medicine and form on your prescription. A low starting price for a different medicine does not establish that it is suitable for you. The MHRA advises speaking to a healthcare professional before changing GLP-1 medicines.

Read the comparison in two passes
First, compare the same dose across pharmacies. On the all-pharmacies table you can sort by a dose column. A dash means that dose has no listed price; it does not confirm stock. On a pharmacy page, the difference column shows how far that pharmacy is above the lowest listed first-order price.
Then open the pharmacy's own site. Mango Market's figures include standard delivery and the offer shown in the comparison. Check the final basket against the listed amount, including any code or offer link instructions. A first-order offer may exclude existing customers, particular doses or some delivery locations.
A listing is a price observation, not a reservation. The comparison does not establish whether the pharmacy will accept your application or have stock when you order.
Keep a separate figure for repeat orders
The cheapest first order may not be the cheapest ongoing service. These are the figures to collect from each pharmacy you shortlist.
| Write down | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| First supply | The final amount after any eligible offer, plus the pack size and delivery charge. |
| Next supply at the same dose | The repeat price without a new-customer discount. Ask whether a review or prescription fee is separate. |
| Supply period | How many doses or tablets the quoted pack contains. Four weeks is 28 days, not a calendar month. |
| Other charges | Any required supplies, subscription commitment, delivery upgrades or cancellation charges. |
A budget depends on the treatment plan
Add the quoted supplies and any separate fees over the same period for each pharmacy. If the clinician expects your prescription to change, ask for the relevant prices too. Do not assume that you will progress through every dose or that today's offer will still apply later.
Before committing to a plan, ask what happens financially if the prescriber changes or stops treatment. Check whether payment is taken before assessment and when a refund would be due if no prescription is issued.
The GPhC guide to online care recommends asking about charges and after-care. Price is one part of the decision: establish who you can contact for follow-up questions and how reviews are arranged.
